Launch of Tullow's 2011/12 Corporate Responsibility Report

Tullow is pleased to announce the publication of the Group’s 2011/2012 Corporate Responsibility Report.  The report charts our progress so far on the journey towards achieving our aim of creating shared prosperity - the 'big idea' that shapes our commitment to make a positive and lasting contribution to economic and social development in our host countries.

The 2011/2012 CR Report can be found at www.tullowoil.com/crr2011

The report covers Tullow's corporate responsibility performance for 2011, plus significant events and developments in the first half of 2012.  Our goal is to provide an overview of our operations and to prioritise the topics of current and long-term strategic importance to Tullow.  Many of these, such as creating opportunities for local people and local businesses to enter the supply chain, or our approach to operating in sensitive areas, have been identified by our stakeholders.  We have tried to address these issues and to reflect the feedback we receive every year from the people who read this report.  As ever,  their input has also resulted in new features and articles including:-

- a letter from Tullow's new Chairman, Simon Thompson, setting out the challenges of maximising the benefits of oil while minimising any adverse impacts on the environment and society;

- a more extensive overview of how Tullow goes about understanding our stakeholder issues and what we have done to address these;

- a Regional Business special feature, providing an overview of our progress with creating shared prosperity and highlighting some key projects and initiatives in each country of operation.

We hope you enjoy reading Tullow's latest CR Report and we look forward to receiving any comments you may wish to make.  These can be sent to Tullow’s External Relations Manager, Lesley Coldham ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. )
